Good day, everyone. And welcome to the presentation. My name is Youngtae Kim, the pipeline engineer from Daewoo Engineering and Construction. I’m in charge of R&D, engineering, and consulting for technology to help pipeline design and installation in Daewoo.
The purpose of my presentation is to share the experience of design and installation of HDPE pipeline which was performed successfully last year in Algeria.
I’ll start by introducing my company, Daewoo briefly and move on the project overview.
Then several key tasks while designing of pipeline will be presented. How we installed the pipeline in the shallow water will be followed.

I’d like tell you a bit about my company.
Daewoo engineering and construction was founded in 1973. We are already a leading player in the EPC business in North Africa, Middle East, South Asia beyond Korea.
Our target business lines are construction for oil and gas, energy, civil and building works, including consulting & engineering for these fields.
My company sales are expected more 9.5 billion dollars, slightly increased than last year. The new contract will be about 12 billion dollars, which 20 % increase last year.
